This lovely vintage inspired wedding dress can be made in several styles of lace, with a silk slip underneath- in ivory or champagne. The classic 1930s styling features a high soft neckline, long lace sleeves, sparkly shoulder appliqués and small ‘puddle’ train.

This style of lace (Tambour lace) is embroidered by machine, but originally it used to be done by hand on a frame called a Tambour, hence it’s name. It’s a different process to modern woven lace, and intricate designs like this one above are rare.
